Keith P. Connolly, M.D is a native of Escanaba with advanced training in hip and knee replacement, including direct anterior hip replacement, partial knee replacement and revision surgery. He attended Michigan State University for undergraduate education where he received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, and was accepted into the Navy Nuclear Power Program. Subsequently, he was commissioned as an officer in the US Navy submarine force where he served for another 7 years, deploying globally, and fulfilling duties as a submarine operations officer, nuclear engineer and director of tactical training. Following his military service, he received his Doctor of Medicine degree as a full scholarship recipient from the University of Central Florida College of Medicine, where he was a member and class president of the charter class. Dr. Connolly continued his training in the Ivy League, where he completed an internship and residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Pennsylvania. After residency, he completed a fellowship in joint replacement at one the nation's elite programs through the Rothman Orthopaedic Institute at Thomas Jefferson University. Dr. Connolly enjoys camping, hiking, snowboarding and playing guitar. Dr. Connolly sees patients at our Marquette clinic in the Upper Peninsula Medical Center and in Escanaba at OSF St. Francis Hospital. He operates at UPHS-Marquette, OSF St. Francis Hospital (Escanaba) and the Upper Peninsula Surgery Center.
Dr. Connolly is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
