Garrett J. Kerns, D.O.

Sports Medicine & Hip Preservation

Dr. Garrett Kerns joined Advanced Center for Orthopedics and Plastic Surgery in September 2020 from the University of Colorado Hip Preservation Clinic, Boulder, Colorado where he completed his fellowship in Orthopedic Hip Preservation. He received his medical degree from Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine, residency in Toledo, OH and a Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy Fellowship in San Diego, CA working with the San Diego Padres and San Diego Chargers professional teams. Dr. Kerns specializes in sports medicine and managing the care of athletes. He was once an athlete himself, as a college basketball player, and he has a passion for caring for athletes of all levels, from elite athletes to the recreational athlete.

Dr. Kerns is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
