Dr. Wallace (Wally) Pearson joined the orthopedic specialists of Advanced Center for Orthopedics in 1995. A Marquette native, Dr. Pearson received his bachelor of science in biology at the University of Michigan. Immediately following, Dr. Pearson completed his master of science degree in exercise physiology at Rackham Graduate School, University of Michigan. Dr. Pearson went on to obtain his medical degree at the University of Michigan Medical School and underwent a general surgery internship and orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, New York.
In addition to his clinical and surgical duties at Advanced Center for Orthopedics, Dr. Pearson serves as an active staff member at Marquette General Hospital. When not seeing patients for knee injuries, Dr. Pearson serves as a team physician for Northern Michigan University and Marquette Senior High School.
In his free time, Dr. Pearson enjoys wind surfing, bicycle racing, backpacking, alpine and nordic skiing, and outside recreation with my family.
Dr. Pearson is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
