Busy medical practice seeks full-time office coding specialist. Duties include: Review and edit provider medical records to identify coding and documentation. Assign appropriate Evaluation & Management Code. Ensure documentation supports diagnosis and procedure code. Ability to multi-task and excellent customer service. Must have recent office coding experience to qualify.
PREFERRED EDUCATION: Courses in medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, basic disease process, ICD-10-CM and CPT. Certified Coding Specialist certification.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Minimum one year coding experience in a healthcare organization. Evaluation and Management certification or experience
